As a former district attorney, I prosecuted hundreds of crimes. As a licensed defense attorney, I have seen hundreds of civil and criminal cases through to the end. I have the experience to evaluate your case, and I know how prosecutors think. My insider knowledge of the system allows me to see, and take advantage of, weaknesses in the other side's case that can help you.
I have a law degree from one of the best law schools in America and also a strong work ethic. I can and will outwork and out-think the opposition. My ability to disagree without being disagreeable has allowed me to develop a reputation as a good, strong attorney who is easy to work with. My strong verbal skills, my friendly but professional demeanor, and my experience allow me to work every single angle of a case until I find the one that's best for you.
I've been a wage-earner for 26 years. I've worked in offices, gas stations, warehouses, restaurants, and law firms. I've been a mechanic and a bouncer and a deliveryman and an attorney. I know what it means to work with my back and my hands, and I understand and respect the financial limits and abilities of my clients.
I am a solo practitioner, so I can give my clients all the time and attention that they need and deserve. I have a wide, informal network of colleagues and contacts that I can work with if necessary. I also have contract clerks and paralegals that I hire when needed. This keeps costs and overhead low and lets me keep my rates competitive. Cash may be king, but America is a democracy. Give me a call; we'll work something out.

Wallace Francis is an attorney licensed to practice in the state courts and Northern District Federal courts of the State of California. An aggressive litigator, he burrows into the deep background of a case to leave no stone unturned. In one recent trial, he successfully defended his client against a frivolous restraining order. Mr. Francis won the trial by completely impeaching the other side's credibility, and his client was awarded $6,000 in attorneys' fees, despite the fact that opposing counsel had over three decades of experience.
Mr. Francis is a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association and a former instructor in the paralegal studies program at Empire College. He served as the Empire College law librarian, and his ability to research the facts and law of any case makes him a formidable opponent in court. A member of the Law Review at Empire College, he co-authored an article on the Supreme Courtís Blakely/Booker decision regarding the sentencing of criminal defendants.
Wallace has a powerful sense of purpose and believes that an essential component of his law practice is to defend the rights of those who suffer at the hands of others. He is unrelenting in his pursuit of justice and truth. In one of his cases, the opponent is on their third attorney after firing the first two for being unsuccessful. His discipline and resolve have been tested and proven time and again, and his courtroom presence, ability to build rapport, and withering cross-examination technique round out his skill set.
"I have been a resident of the San Francisco Bay area for over 35 years and have called Sonoma County my home since 1981. Before law school, I was a Field Investigator for a local Private Investigations firm.
I graduated from law school with honors in 2004. While in law school I held the position of Senior Law Clerk at the Sonoma County Public Defender's Office, where I got an early start in my career appearing in court on a variety of matters.
After law school, I worked at a respected Sonoma County criminal defense firm, where I honed my courtroom and negotiation skills. I have represented clients in a variety of misdemeanor and felony cases, including theft crimes, burglary, embezzlement, drug possession and sales, DUI, assault crimes, gang crimes, sex crimes, manslaughter and murder.
In October, 2008, I opened an office in Santa Rosa, California. I continue a tradition of aggressive and intelligent advocacy for those accused of all manner of criminal offenses.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, fishing, camping, hiking, traveling, community contribution, and catching a good game."
